The DW002 Launch Party: Dark Wax Presents "the Edge"
 |
After the massive success of Devastation we were in no rush to do another DW live event. We wanted to take our time so we could get the right venue, at the right time, with the right 'line up to insure we have another live, kicking, thumping dakside affair with loads of Dark Wax exclusive tracks blended skillfully with all the darkside tunes you know & love.
This event will feature cutting edge DnB beats from international artists both signed and unsigned. Established artist Resonont Evil and Ink will be keep things dark with 2 Shy, Stirlin and Random Deviation on the mic, keeping the lyrical flows tight and the crowd hyped all night. This will all be backed up with DWs unique presentational style and a good atmosphere.
The night has been planned to coincide with the release of DW002 and to ensure the launch party atmosphere we have a two for one promotional offer on selected drinks B4 11.

The DW002 Launch Party: Dark Wax Presents "Devastation"
Devastation is an exciting new project from Urban Storm promotions. On Sat 7th Aug 2004 Urban Storm promotions will combine with Dark Wax and Skooldem Records to bring you "Devastation: The Dark Wax Launch Party", at Brixton Mass, St Matthew's Church.
This award winning venue will host two rooms of devastating beats with conscious lyrical content and dark side drum & bass.
The first room will host Dark Wax. 80ks of beats and bass-line from the DW contingent, as well as Friction, Keaton and Pendulum accompanied by two 42 inch screens of exclusively commissioned entertainment and live dancers. |
|
The Second room presents Skooldem affiliates The IRS, alongside respected and established artists such as Apollo (host), Phi Life Cypher, TerraFirma and Itch fm Dj Furious.
The entertainment doesn't stop there; also performing will be live break-dancers and graffiti artists creating a live Devastation dub outside the Mass.
We have been waiting for the right time for this, we weren't happy to hold just another rave. We wanted to hold an event to showcase our talents on the right stage, at the right time and with the right accompanying headlining (more widely known) artists. An event not quite like any thing you've ever been to/seen before Devastation.
